Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of and cruelty toward animals for food, clothing, labor, entertainment, or any other purposes. Vegan food does not contain meat/flesh from any animal, eggs, gelatin, honey, animal milk, or animal milk derived products like whey. Vegan foods are made from fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds.
The goal of Lowcountry VegFest 2016 is to teach & show how fun and easy it is to eat and live vegan in the Lowcountry and why you would like to do so for your health, public health, the animals, and environmental conservation.
